In 1989 Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology (CCAT) and Essex Institute of Higher Education merged together to form the Anglia Higher Education College. Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology was previously known as Cambridge School of Art, which was established in 1858 by John Ruskin. Later in 1960 it became Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology.
The college offers various Full time and Part-time courses for undergraduate and postgraduate.

Askham Bryan College
Askham Bryan College is basically “Yorkshire Institute of Agriculture” which was started in 1948. In 1967 it became Askham Bryan College of Agriculture and Horticulture. Various courses such as animal management, land management, business, food production, engineering and bioscience are taught here.
The Askham Bryan College has developed a residential facility including 189 brand new en-suite rooms for accommodation in summer 2007.
